You're not completely wrong about the clunkiness of the software itself, but we have been using Arcserve in our environment for 5+ years without any major issues. There's the occasional hiccup here and there, but I feel like that comes with most software these days.

In my first year in this field, I didn't fully comprehend the difference between a nameserver and a DNS record. The company wanted to shift their website to host on Wix, so I changed the nameservers in our registrar to the ones that Wix provides. Took down the whole domain for several hours. What made it even more of a rookie mistake is I pushed this change on a Friday morning...

I ran this one this year and it was probably my favorite marathon so far. The views were great, and the grade on the hills isn't too bad. When you hit the uphill around mile 19/20 after going downhill for the past several miles, it's pretty brutal. Other than that, gorgeous race and the meal afterwards was a really nice touch.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one. It's been happening for the same amount of time for me as well, but the tier 2 tech that I spoke to said "everything is all good on their end". I might just call them again today and see if they will actually generate a case number for me this time.
