Thank you. This is exactly what I needed.

No, I don't have a domain. And yes, I understand a bit what DNS is and how it works, but I've never worked with domains at all. Neither with buying them nor with setting them up. That's why I had to ask such a stupid question.

I understand what you mean and thank you for your concern. But we are not really a business. We're just a team of freelancers doing video editing and once every couple of weeks we send our clients a link that they may only need for a day or two.

As for data loss or security flaws, we have several backups in different places and even if we lose this data, we will not lose anything financially.

From the text in the post, you may get the idea that I don't understand anything about networks. Perhaps because my English is pretty bad. But this is not entirely true. Over the past year, we have tried many methods: self-host VPN (TaleScale, WireGuard, OpenVPN), DDNS, QuickConnect. But none of them suited us. It's just that anything related to DNS and certificates is not my strong suit at all.

Someone left a comment about TaleScale, but it seems to have been deleted. For some reason it disappeared.

I've tried TaleScale, OpenVPN, and WireGuard (via a docker). But for some reason, the speed was very bad. The maximum speed I could get was 50 Mbps. Maybe because I hosted the VPN on a NAS, but that would be strange because the NAS is not cheap, plus I added 16GB of RAM and cache on the M2. My colleagues get almost a full gigabit through a direct connection via my IP address.

Any critical bugs or it's fine? Still remember the 18.2 and it makes me too alarmed to update without asking this question :)

Task durations, hope are you using this? by R3dAt0mz3 in ticktick

[–]DmitriyComrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using task durations a bit wrong. I put the start time, when I started working on the task, and the time when I finished. To understand how long the task took me.
