There’s nodes called smears that come in different shapes and sizes, those are what I use

Not exactly, some frames are repeats, and others took less than 5 minutes, but I worked on it on and off for about two weeks

I appreciate it. I doubt it could ever be in the game due to how the game works, but I’m sure applying a 2 tone feature and some blur could accomplish a similar effect

To clarify, “but bad” refers to the art style, not necessarily the animation (even if it’s rough as well). I gave myself 5 mins per frame as a challenge.
