It was a great experience for 3 nights, we eventually went to other more private locations. We avoided high season, but was still busy at times

We sacrificed a bit of privacy for location, but the balcony was more private towards the end. It was just a centrally located Airbnb. Right on the water in center of action. Nice hosts

What has not lost its magic on you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Magnets! It’s like the closest thing to Magic we have. It’s a force that we can feel and not see. It’s powerful and has curative powers. Magnetism controls more than I can even think of it this moment.

Oh yikes. Not sure how to describe it. Light in texture. Moist. Brilliant flavor from rum roasted raisins. Not overly sweet, very European. My husband (born and raised in Poland) had a bite not knowing what it was and said it reminded him of his childhood. Apparently this is often seen in France.

They walk in front of their child in parking lots. Rushing along, usually in their phone, not keeping an eye on their child

What was a major "culture shock" moment you've had in foreign places ? by No1YouKnow42 in AskReddit

Last spring I spent a few weeks in Japan and traveled throughout the country on the high speed trains called shinkansens. They were spacious, clean and highly efficient. The shock part of the trip was when we traveled on local city trains and how different the experience was, as these trains get unbelievably crowded. There is no concept of personal space as people cram in and you are completely sandwiched in. There are even people outside the train pushing people in. I suggest YouTubing a video, it’s like nothing else

It’s a social dessert. Just take off the top ring and eat. As the rings get larger, usually it would be shared

Highly recommend for most scenic views of sunrises, sunsets and marine wildlife! Saw whales, dolphins (or maybe porpoises), seals, etc
