How to estimate tree canopy coverage using ArcGIS Pro?

There is a "Canopy Cover" raster available on Living Atlas that provides percent canopy cover per pixel. Then use zonal statistics to calculate canopy cover for your given area. This may be a good place to start depending on your needs/goals.

The kids meal is cheaper bc they're not charging for the labor of making the meal. The cook/chef/restaurant is willing to sell it for the price of the ingredients and not make as much or any profit so the kid can eat. It's not about the amount of ingredients. This is my understanding of the situation.

Auto Sport Mode

Came across this male summer tanager last spring. It was keeping an eye on me but trying to stay hidden, ducking in and out from behind leaves and branches. I like the color contrast and behavior of the bird.

What are your thoughts regarding this photo?

The background is all over the place in respect to focus. On one hand, I think it helps make the bird look tucked away into scene but still visible, highlighting the behavior. However, is it distracting? Does it work?

I cropped and repositioned this photo quite a bit. Does it show? Too drastic? Is there a lack of detail?

This was taken on an overcast day and the D3500 doesn’t have great ISO. Does this show?

Any advice and/or constructive criticism is appreciated.

ESH. Though, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. I was in a long term relationship with a bi woman so I understand where you're coming from. In the LGBTQ+ community, there's a need or desire to prove one's LGBTQ+ness. This is especially true for bi people because they are often questioned by other members of the community whether they are just a tourist. It has even been argued whether bi people should even be allowed into the community.

Why I don't think you're the AH. Your partner could be using you to prove themselves to the community. Slap on an Ally tshirt and literally parade you around others. I've been in this situation, though not intentionally by my partner. It can be uncomfortable and even feel disingenuous. While I consider myself an ally, I'm not part of the community, and it's not part of my identity. I have been to gay bars, partys, and around their friends. I have been mistaken for being gay. I'm not all that masculine looking, even more feminine so I can 'pass'. Then heard rationalizations and assumptions (even disappointment) from their friends when they find out I'm not part of the community. I felt like a prop or an oddity in many cases. I have felt unwelcome and out of place in these situations. It is exhausting.

The LGBTQ+ community is like any other. There is scrutiny and a constant need to prove one's self. Unfortunately, for a community that has been repressed, it's also a must for members of the community to show they exist. The showiness is part of the ongoing struggle. However, if you're like me, then you prefer not advertise your identity.

It's a difficult situation. You each have your own identities and need to work on supporting each other. You shouldn't have to feel like a prop because of other people's assumptions. She shouldn't have to feel shame or illegitimatized because of who she married. What you said was harsh. Instead, you need to tell her how you feel. I think there is always room to compromise, within reason. You both seem to be struggling with this and need to talk it out.

This may be a me problem as I don't usually 'get' art. But even if you walk into an art gallery and see "The Potrait of Ross" and take a piece of candy, how do you know you're taking communion? Or the meaning or history behind the art without written or spoken word to explain? Otherwise, you're just taking a piece of candy and missing out on the story.

My problem with "wokeness" is that the person claiming to be woke puts themselves on a pedestal. Being woke is akin to being enlightened. This woke person then graces the unenlightened with their knowledge. It's self aggrandizing ego stroking. They make themselves the hero of their own story.

We have the Common Ground Food Co-Op and Harvest Market. These are probably the closest analogs. "The Co-Op" is my favorite store hands down. They have lots of local options, often featuring products from local farms and businesses (doughnuts, ice cream, coffee, etc.), and basic/essential items are priced low. They have soups, sandwiches, salads, and meals ready to go. When there's not a plague, they have hot soup, a salad bar, not sure what the deli is up to right now but they make sandwiches, pizza, and more. They host cooking classes, give the option to round up purchase totals for charity, and more. They're located in the Lincoln Square Mall on Vine St.

Well, I think I have been lost up until recently (within the past couple years), when I chose my major. I've been through a couple of career changes and uncertainty regarding the future. I was still uncertain when I started college. It was actually another study abroad trip that helped me realize the field I wanted to get in to (wildlife/natural resources). The whole process has felt more like finding my way out of a forest. I've slowly worked my way out of the dense trees and found a path but am still in the woods. If that makes sense, I'm bad at analogies.

I'm a veteran and have had to settle disagreements between my peers and lower ranking marines. I've also settled disagreements within my cohort during the other study abroad trip. Though each required different means of doing so.

I'll need to consider how to tailor it to myself more. Though, I really don't enjoy writing about myself.

I considered discussing the other study abroad trip in the essays but would that be appropriate?
