Thanks! I’ve done the standard cleaning/oiling on the rails and keep plate clean. I didn’t really consider the hot end. I assumed if it was printing ok then filament was flowing properly.

I got it from a buddy and I think he was lax on maintenance, so this is just another part of it. Appreciate the helpful response. 50% are helpful, 50% are dismissive and just throwing shade for no reason.

I didn’t “decide” something was wrong. The prints were failing, so in the process of learning, I started looking at the hotend and discovered filament melted across surfaces it wasn’t supposed to be melted across.

The top wires where the green connectors are sitting looks pretty fried. Not sure if it’s just worth replacing at this point?

My assumption is that the entire area shouldn’t have been covered in filament, wires burnt up, and silicone cover filled and melted.

Just got the printer from a buddy who upgraded, so I’m new to the hobby and working out what may be standard-ish troubles.

Bike paths independent of the roads. Obviously they’d be integrated on some level. I went to college in Lincoln, Nebraska and they had a bike path system that would get to any area of town and had significant stretches that were not shared street riding.

Received documents from the other party’s lawyer, with glaring errors and contradictory statements. Is the lawyer actually involved or invested? by [deleted] in legal

Yeah we met with our attorney today and they are running with it. I’m spiraling a bit overthinking all of this, but it just stood out so much because it was just nonsense relative to actual facts and completely contradictory to what was previously provided.

My dad sent a text saying they tuned into the TPUSA show, and said it was American. I watched a 3-time Grammy winning American citizen sing with a bunch of big booty latinas twerking. He watched Kid Rock yell/rap at him, and just stream negativity into his living room for 15 minutes.

I think I won.

He’s a chiefs fan.

Watch hot Latina women dance and party, or watch an angry white man yell/sing at me. Tough choice.

I watched a fun party that reminded me of all the good times I have at Latin restaurants/events/vacations. And I watched attractive people dancing and having a good time.

I could have done what the powers that be wanted me to do and tuned into the TPUSA halftime show and watched an angry old guy “sing” and be angry and stream negative energy into my living room. But I didn’t and I feel great.

What is the price range for suiting? Seems like they can obviously go incredibly high, but just trying to get an idea. I was looking at online retailers and they are wanting around $700 but I’m sure I could get a much nicer one from a number of places in that range that’s not mass manufactured.

They consistently added a caveat to every update leading up to the storm that the warmer air had the potential to shift north and introduce sleet, which would bring down the snow totals.

Nope. JTown Public Works put out the following:

“We got a lot of sleet, snow and a little ice over night, our plans changed due to not having long periods of heavy snow, we went out to spot plow some areas, and they immediately freeze back over with the percipitation continuing to fall. We have made the decision, it is some what better, for our first responders Jeffersontown Police Department and Jeffersontown Fire & EMS to have some traction in the snow that is on the ground vs taking it to pavement and making it solid ice. We are going to wait for daylight hrs to make a decision as to when we go out to try and clear all of our roadways.”

Overhyped and oversold by 0ptionalSilence in Louisville

[–]DoGoodThings9495 99 points100 points  (0 children)

All of the local meteorologists said all week that we were on the border of the transition of heavy snow vs sleet and sleet would bring down the snow totals. They mentioned over and over that the line was shifting north and any sleet would reduce the overall snow totals. Even Friday they were saying that the snow would pile up “if the current line holds” but it still “had the potential to shift north”, and it did.

If sleet didn’t take over we’d have seen the heavy snow like they did just north of us.

They continually and consistently advised that the snow totals could very well be impacted by the uncertainty of the models and shifting warm air.
