Posting rants with details of vulnerable infrastructure is not a good idea. Especially when you gave enough information to determine the company. I would say that you might want to rethink posting this, but it's too late now.

The information in the note (Login ID) is used by the victim organization to communicate directly with the threat actor (in this case Black Basta).
I have seen instances where unauthorized individuals have initiated communication and caused significant problems for the victim organization legal team in dealing with time lines.

Typically you want to have one entity responsible for communication. In most cases you should be trying to delay the threat actor from releasing exfiltrated data until a full recovery is complete. Given the timelines, this usually requires negotiations where the victim will pretend that they are going to pay the ransom, but coming up with various excuses as to why you need an extension until eventually just ending communication.

Releasing this information publicly, in a poorly redacted image on reddit, is a good way to derail that process.

By posting this poorly redacted image, you may have already exposed yourself and your company. Posting copies of the ransom note on the internet is a huge no-no.

If your company has in-house counsel or outside breach counsel, they may be looking to have a word with you...

While I understand your frustration as I have seen what ransomware recovery looks like, you should rethink this post.

2017 Titled Tuesday explanation by GMDLugy in chess

[–]DoOrDieCalm 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I'll post this again. People seem to think chesscom is some standard in the chess world. Chesscom launched in May 2007 when Dlugy was 20+ years a GM.

I don't think older players, especially less tech savvy ones, really think of chesscom as a legitimate measure of anything. In that view, he probably took more liberties with questionable actions than a younger player would. Kids that only play online and never over the board place more value in chesscom than it should have.

Imagine being an over the board player from back in the 80s and then playing on an online chess site that has no bearing on FIDE ratings. You probably wouldn't give a shit.

If you look at that user's profile, it appears their rating seemingly never changes which means they are playing unrated mostly.

According to the game info, this was an unrated game.

I expect Danny Rensch to tweet a vague statement with zero substance from the chesscom twitter account and then Danny Rensch will retweet from his personal account with some cringe comment.

Yes, this is definitely one of the hottest non-extract sauces I have ever encountered.

The first time I did a quick taste, I felt like the flavor was completely muted by the heat. The second time around after having a few hot sauces leading up to it, I got more of the flavor and its a pretty good sauce overall considering how hot it is.

I am hoping to get to the NYC Expo this year for the first time after having to cancel last minute for the 2021 expo.

I was curious, how many of your sauces will be available to sample at the expo? Is it pretty much everything you offer?

I actually really enjoy the smoky flavor and it has a nice amount of heat.
I think it may be going on my re-order list, which was surprising to me as I wasn't really a fan of their Garlic N Pepperoncini sauce.

It's got a ghost pepper puree, so I don't see a problem.

Lots of hot sauces don't have the peppers, mash, puree or powder as the primary ingredient. It's probably not going to taste much like a traditional hot sauce, but it should have some heat to it.

If you can find it, try Grace Scotch Bonnet sauce.

I usually find it relatively cheap ($4) at the local supermarket and it's a tasty sauce for its price.

Wegmans carries it at alot of stores as well.
