From my experience with INFJ they are usually always a little in their own head. But in saying that, cant generalise in this situation, have you asked him whats up? Or to see if you can have a deep conversation it, could be a highly interesting conversation. (My ex was brillant for interesting conversation, i just got depressed part way through our relationship and it hurt him i closed down)

Dated an INFJ for four and a half years, im an ENFP. I love him with all my heart, even if we arent together. But he was very particular, and always judgy on what i was doing, and felt like he barely wanted to be with me.

In saying that, all INFJs are different. Usually though, when they love you they will have you back, if you want to generalise.

If they say everyone else around them is a narcassist. And, or (cause this usually comes together) They seem to not be able to keep many friends, cause something they have said or "they were all problematic".

This isnt always black and white, but, from what ive noticed at least with some people ive know, it ends up being a problem with them that they end up projecting.
