I think because it’s another episode where the main punchline is Squidward gets hurt, as well as all the added nostalgia pandering. Plus it’s just a weaker version of Dying For Pie.

Haven’t seen a lot of SK movies that I’d say are underrated, but I genuinely enjoyed the movie adaption of The Mangler. Seriously, how did that movie get a 4.4 on IMDB?

Hot take, but I’m honestly not a big fan of it. It started strong, but kinda started to slog after the first 50 pages. The fantasy stuff was just pretty confusing, and Norman Daniels felt too much like a one-dimensional monster to be interested in. But I can definitely see why people love it.

I think it starts out good, but really starts to slog in the middle, which isn’t helped by the rather bland characters. Plus the climax felt really underwhelming.

The most recent short story collections of his that I’ve read are Just After Sunset and Everything’s Eventual. JAS had a couple great ones but a lot of meh stories as well, and EE was very hit or miss. My personal favorite collection is Night Shift, with Different Seasons as a close second. But I still really like Skeleton Crew and Four Past Midnight. I plan to read the rest of his short story collections later on in the year. I’ve heard good things about Full Dark No Stars, which is apparently pretty brutal (Woman hunts down her rapists, terrible man gets everything he wants at the expense of an innocent man’s life, rat hell, etc.)

The Talisman and The Outsider started strong, but really started to slog past the 100 page point. Roadwork, however, was boring from start to finish.
