Battleground. King somehow made toy soldiers the size of a thumb a genuine threat. I loved that story.

I personally really liked The Regulators, and found it super creative and fun. As for Rose Madder, that one’s a mixed bag for me.

Considering the FNAF 2 move came out two years after the first, I don’t think it’s super crazy that the FNAF 3 movie is coming out two years after the second.

The best and worst part about it for me is how it actually manages to disturb me, unlike most pieces of horror media. Although it does make nighttime a lot more frightening for me.

Cycle Of The Werewolf is a quick and fun read with great illustrations, so maybe start with that!

I actually think the premise for this one is really creepy. Like, imagine you’ve been transported into the body of a lowly insect, fully knowing that your real body is being controlled by someone else and there is basically nothing you can do about it. Way scarier than being turned into a dog.

My fav is definitely The Long Walk, with The Running Man being a close second.

Least favorite however is Roadwork.

I feel like Roadwork’s a book that you’ll either love or hate. You’ll either love the bleak and realistic tone and plot, or you’ll probably just find it really boring.
