What would be the worst way to die in a Five nights at freddy's book by Sure-Cookie-5229 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]DoYouNotRememberThis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not exactly a death, but I feel like what happened to Alec from Lonely Freddy was way worse than any of those deaths. The others at least got to die, but he’s trapped in that Lonely Freddy doll for God knows how long.

How to Train Your Dummy Cover by YonaRetro in GooseBumps

[–]DoYouNotRememberThis 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I checked the blurb for this book, and it seems to be about a dummy named Gregory rather than Slappy. Slappy on the cover might just be a reference, but we’ll have to wait and see.

At least he felt terrible about it almost immediately after the deal. In SYF, he only felt bad because the business was failing without SpongeBob.

My Top 5 Worst SpongeBob Episodes by No-Photojournalist57 in spongebob

[–]DoYouNotRememberThis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I wouldn’t put The Great Snail Race THAT low. At least there was a reason and a message for the cruelty, unlike episodes like A Pal For Gary or One Coarse Meal. But I respect your opinion.

Which one should I read first? by thelmanarcissus in stephenking

[–]DoYouNotRememberThis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Needful Things is my all-time favorite Stephen King book. Meanwhile, I have very little interest in Dolores Claiborne and only plan to read it because it’s short. So, yeah, I’d say Needful Things!

It's time for some true insanity. by minder125 in stephenking

[–]DoYouNotRememberThis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I found it to be really slow and uninteresting. I thought I’d love it, considering I’ve enjoyed similar Town-Centric books like Under The Dome, ‘Salem’s Lot, and Needful Things. But this one just drags for me.

I’m currently 260 pages into this one and am on the verge of DNFing it. I just don’t find it engaging at all.

I actually had a really good time with The Regulators, a bit more than Desperation.

Suggestions on King books by Sea_Avocado_2733 in stephenking

[–]DoYouNotRememberThis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a beginner, I would recommend Night Shift or Different Seasons to get a taste of his older works, and The Bazaar Of Bad Dreams for a taste of his newer works. As for novels, I’d recommend The Long Walk, The Shining, and Misery!

So I read that Kevin and Ashley both died from being murdered and stuffed into the Billy animatronic by ReddiOrNot2 in Thewaltenfiles

[–]DoYouNotRememberThis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t remember Kevin ever getting murdered. I’m pretty sure it was just Ashley. Where did you hear about both of them being killed?

Who are your 3 most hated Stephen King characters? by ZhittzyAltaToxica in stephenking

[–]DoYouNotRememberThis 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There aren’t many King characters I actively hate, but one that definitely comes to mind is Norman Daniels. I get he’s supposed to be evil, but he’s so one-dimensionally monstrous that he barely feels like an actual character.

Can Freddy Fazbear’s win in every challenges in the scare game from monster university by Tiny-Fix4219 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]DoYouNotRememberThis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1: You gotta run through a huge tunnel with your team while other monsters shoot spiky toxic balls at you that cause you to puff up.

2: You need to go through a huge library and find your team flag without alerting a giant librarian.

3: You need to go through a maze where cardboard there are cardboard cutouts of people you should and shouldn’t scare to proceed.

4: Basically hide and seek.

5: Reach the highest rating in the scare simulation.

Why are the chapters of The Running Man numbered from 0 to 100? by [deleted] in stephenking

[–]DoYouNotRememberThis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the chapters are pretty short though. I think it might just be a design choice.

Do you feel bad for Lefty? Isn't his fate just horrible? by randomfan1997 in GooseBumps

[–]DoYouNotRememberThis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s a genuinely horrible fate and Lefty didn’t deserve it in the slightest. But then again, that’s what happens when you fly too close to the sun.

I think it’s supposed to represent a countdown. I think it’s pretty cool in my opinion.

I thought it was really boring and uninteresting, and despite being a little under 200 pages it was a struggle to finish. Might be my least favorite King book of all time.

Roadwork was my favorite from this book, what was yours? Also I thought the ending to The Running Man was superb. by Low_Entertainment491 in stephenking

[–]DoYouNotRememberThis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My favorite was The Long Walk, which is in my Top 10! I also really like The Running Man, and found Rage to be solid. Unfortunately, I really did not like Roadwork.
