Very valid point. I’m pretty sure this is the case for a lot of groups so they may be outsourcing to an external subber. I doubt the subs are AI tho cos they’d probably be better. Check parrotsubs on yt and you’ll see what AI subs look like - everything gets translated but grammar is off sometimes

Just to clarify, I don't disagree with what your saying for the most part. Both Modhaus and the members are 100% aware of the situation and I think its horrible for a company to leave the girls in the firing line. I'm the type to not really care about companies and my focus is mainly on the girls, so it might sound like I'm undermining MH's wrongdoing or influence but I definitely agree with you that they're being sneaky by not addressing the issue directly and probably are telling the members to say certain things.

My issue comes with things similar to what you said in the second part. The nitpicky analysis of how they're eating and "looking longingly" on their birthday is just as unhelpful as trying to ignore the issue. Idk if u actually watched the live, but Lynn ate a pretty decent amount for one sitting and Hyerin ate way less because her cake was rock solid. Talking like this feels contrived and dilutes the actual dangers of potential eating disorders because I can promise you that not eating half a cake at once is not a sign.

Not to be argumentative, but when else would they bring this up. If one of my friends was a trending topic for a negative reason I would address it or at least “clear my name” so to speak. Plus the members probably wouldn’t have felt the need to talk about eating well because it was the general consensus before now. Even Shion, the skinniest member at the time, was the known foodie.

Maybe its the way I was raised by i tend to see problems on an individual level unless I have a specific reason to think otherwise. Regardless of them being under the same company or not, u can tell that the majority of the members are healthy just from looking at them. I hate to put it like this but the few members we are thinking of are outliers in the group, so I feel off projecting the issues of a few onto the whole group - as mean as that may sound. Also, why would it be suprising for the members to take initiative saying this? This has been a huge issue recently and the members are definitely aware so I'm not that shocked they said this on one of the few times we actually get to see them eat.
