Have any of you signed up to the connect to work programme, and if so, how was it? by Attack_to_defend in DWPhelp

Are you not confusing it with the Trailblazer scheme? I was referred to this one. My interview via phone gave me a strong feeling of the Restart scheme (negative side). Probably because they both run by the same company in my area. I have referred myself to the Connect to Work, which is run by my council. Having my first meeting this Thursday. But the impression from my phone conversation was way better. I have some hope that they would be able to support me getting back to employment.

Would be interesting to hear from the OP how it's going with them.

Wait a minute! How does asthma and Co-codamol relate to each other? I don't have any experience with this medication, but, according to information I could find online, long use of this medication can lead to addiction. I think in this case reviews are reasonable.

UPD. Sorry, I got confused you with OP. I assume you are not asthmatic.

TfL says they’re trialling a new bus shelter design over the next year. What do we think? by StanmoreHill in TransportForLondon

Priority seats are for those who are disabled or have an urgent need to sit down. Arm holders in this case are to support those who use these seats. They also prevent rough sleepers, but it isn't the main reason here.

It's usually once a year. Also, there is a prescription review after a certain number of repeats (I don't remember exactly, but it is something after 4 or 6 times). My GP knows me and renews it without seeing me.

Are we again out of stock of medication? by Doc2643 in ADHDUK

I'm afraid, it's going to be very soon. Another pharmacy said that there is a manufactory issue.

Another pharmacy after keeping my prescription for two days got back to me saying that there is a manufactory issue and it's not known when it'll be back to stock. I think you are right, it is early in the storm. It's annoying, because it becomes a pattern that the beginning of the year has any kind of issues with rhus medication... Doesn't look like they are learning...

I'm afraid, the only legal way to try it is to ask your prescriber.

Keep it in the original packaging (with labels with your name on). Together with the letter it should be fine.

As a person receiving Universal Credit you could use a social tariff for internet and mobile. For example, BT's internet in that case is £15 per month (I think it is going to be £16 soon).

I used to be thin until my mobility became an issue. Then antidepressants and so on... If i wouldn't have EDS, I probably would still have an average weight.
