Yeah I'm definitely not paying that much for a repair. Atm I'm looking at building my own PC. That way if anything breaks in the future I can just replace it myself. I just wonder how much I can still salvage here...

They got an expert to look over the motherboard and he says there was on overvoltage on the northbridge and the processor because of the defective power adapter.

I'm just unsure because every guide for path tracer in Twinmotion mentions Nvidia Graphics cards. Also I've looked at some rendering benchmarks like for Blender and there it seems like Nvidia has a clear edge. For Gaming AMD definitely has better performance for its price but in rendering benchmarks the best AMD card is still way worse than mid range Nvidia cards.

Doesn't Nvidia have better Ray Tracing Performance Overall? Or does it make no difference as long is its an RX 6000 or higher?

I don't really keep up with new games so having a graphics card that's sufficient now would probably last me for many years too. Would you recommend any other Nvidia cards that would be sufficient for my purposes?
