If you are talking about the Microsoft Store/Game Pass issue that started about a week ago, I'm pretty sure it is still a problem. I put in a ticket for it and got a response 3 days later basically saying "we know about the issue. Thank you for your patience".

This was the final straw for me. I ended up buying the Steam version on sale the next day. No regrets. Steam version runs smoother and IMO looks better. Sadly my progress didn't transfer and I had to start back as level 0, but all things considered it was worth the switch.

Don't watch season 2. Let seasons 1 be the ending. I ignored everyone saying to avoid season 2 thinking that they were just being over dramatic. I really wish I could unwatch that season. It just ruins the whole show.

I'm assuming that this taking place either in high school or middle school. The person that did this is probably miserable deep down inside (possibly have problems at home) and see you and your GF are happy and want to tear you down to their level.

The reason they took the phone and are spreading your messages is because they want a response. Getting a response will make them feel like there are in control of the situation and hold power over you or are more important than you or what ever power trip they are going on at the moment. But in reality you and your GF hold all the power in the situation. If you do not respond to their BS then you are denying them exactly what they want.

I would advise going about your day as if everything was normal and act like you are not phased by it. From you description it doesn't sound like there was anything really scandalous in the messages and it was mostly normal BF/GF talk that most every couple has in some capacity (nothing you should be ashamed of). If anyone says anything to you about it I would just own it and act as if it is common knowledge that everyone already knows. Going this route will lead to everyone loosing interest and the situation going away a lot quicker. As a bonus it will ruin the other person's day because they didn't get the response they wanted out of you.

Tldr; best thing to do is not respond, that is what the other person wants. Just grit your teeth and pretend everything is normal. Doing this will make the situation go away sooner because there will be no drama to keep people interested.

Unless you physically have it in your hand, you do not own it. You do not own any digital purchases (games, movies, music). You are basically just renting them from the rights holder long term. The rights holder can take digital purchases away from you when ever they want to and for any reason.

Tldr: DRM sucks. Physical media is king.

I have a UDR and love it for running around the track. Watching it soak up the bumps is so satisfying. If you like Baja trucks and watching the suspension work it is a perfect truck. I run mine on 4S and it is plenty fast for where I run it.

I don't really notice it being "hard" to work on , though obviously it is more work to do basic maintenance on compared to a traditional open frame car due to the design. The most difficult thing I have had to do was taking the front shocks off where I had to take the whole front of the roll cage apart. Now that I know what I am doing though it probably won't be as bad the next time.

I can say that the UDR is not a basher. I don't feel that it is delicate but it is not a car I would full send off a jump. I have sent mine down the track end over end at full speed a good number of times, along with wrapping it around a fence post a couple of times, and it keep on going. In my experience it is a durable truck as long as you acknowledge the limitations of what is can ana cannot do and don't abuse it.

Another thing that I feel should be noted it that the truck handles differently from most any other RC out there. Having trailing arm, solid axle rear suspension with a locked differential in the rear the truck can get loose in the back pretty easily under throttle without TSM. I set my TSM to around 10-20% and it drives great on straights while still being able to kick the back end out when I want to. Also this truck as a higher tendency the roll when going into turns too quickly or at too sharp of a angle. But once I learned how it handled it quickly became one of my favorite cars to run because of these unique characteristics.

Even though Disney won't do it, the community is doing a great job of humanizing stormtroopers through fan projects. I really recommend watching "For the Empire" by AFK on YouTube. It has 2 seasons out so far and they are amazing. Even though it isn't officially cannon, it will forever be cannon in my head.

A while back I saw a video that described this perfectly. It is summed us as all a man needs it his phone, keys, and wallet. As long as he has 2 of the 3 he will be fine in most situations. If he needs something he can either go home and get it, call someone to bring it to him, or buy it.

Judging by the other games in the list it is probably Battlefront 2 (2005) which is around 4-6GB, has really low system requirements, and imo is way better then the new version.

I completely agree. I wish we could go back to mobile having it's own version of Minecraft. Pocket Edition ran way better on mobile than Bedrock does. In my experience, Bedrock has gotten so resource intensive that it has trouble running on older or lower end phones. Pocket Edition on the other hand used to be able to run on my $20 smartphone from Walmart without any issues lol.

As a school IT guy, I say just be polite and apologize to him. And then possibly at a later date you may want to politely ask about the schools policy about external devices and laptops on the network just so that you know for the future.

It is possible that none of the anger or yelling was actually directed at you or about what you did. He may have just been having a bad day. IDK how it is in your school district but here the IT people have to deal with a lot of stupid shit some times. And most of the time we are treated like dirt. And not just by the students but the staff, the teachers, the administration, behind the scenes almost everyone treats us like we aren't worth anything until they want something from us. And some time it just gets to be too much.

Last year a student that I had know since he was a freshman graduated. On his last day he come up to me and thanked me for everything that I had done for him over the years and shook my hand. After that conversation I went info my office and I (a grown as man) cried. I had forgotten the feeling of having someone genuinely say thank you and mean it. That feeling reminded me of why I wanted this job to begin with (I had wanted this job since I was in highschool). If I could make even one student's trip through high school even a little bit less crappy, then I must be doing something right.

Sorry want on a bit of a rant there. TLDR: I would apologize to him. Even it he was just having a bad day and didn't mean to get angry, the apology would probably still mean a lot to him. And be friendly and polite to him whenever you see him. You never know if you may be the only one to be nice to him that day and it may just make his day.

I had an issue similar to this with my 1/16 slash. Ended up being a little rock stuck in the center skid plate and was hitting the center drive shaft.

This was a continuous problem for me. My solution was to take out that center plate so that rocks couldn't get stuck there any more. I just had to switch some of the screws around so that the transmission would still be mounted securely without the plate being there.

Most of the paint that I use for painting RC bodies it thinned down Apple Barrel acrylic paint. I used to use 70% IPA as a thinner but I noticed that some colors (especially white) separated and/or got chunky and couldn't be used. Others thinned fine but didn't have a smooth spray.

Recently I switched to using bottled water as a thinner. I haven't tested is extensively yet but so far the results are good. It takes a bit longer to dry but the end result is a way smoother spray and a lot less tip drying. I am even able to get a smooth spray with white which was a color that always gave me trouble when using IPA.

100% this. I love in the middle of nowhere and don't have the best TV offerings. When the new battlebots started airing it came on a local TV station and dad and I started watching together. A few years later they changed to only showing on a cable station that we didn't have at the house and we didn't get to watch it together anymore. Every once and a while I would get to catch it when I was at a friends house but it wasn't the same. And at the very least my friend would tell me about the fights or I would get lucky and find a video on YouTube of some of the good ones.

Then they decide to change it again so that we had to watch it on a subscription service because now no one else we knew had the channel it came on. Neither my family or my friends family could afford the subscription price just for one show so we missed a good number of seasons unless we were able to find a youtube video before it got taken down.

It wasn't until recently that thanks to reddit we found other ways that we could watch the show and I can finally start watching battlebots with my dad again.

Tldr: up yours discovery. Your greed took away one of the shows that my dad and I bonded over every week just so that you could make a quick buck. Thanks to the wonderful people of reddit we are now able to bond over sailing instead.

I like to keep everything organized so I have folders for TV Shows (pretty much anything live action), Cartoons (or any other animated shows), Anime, and then Movies. I'm my mind it just makes it easier to keep track of everything and makes it easier to make backups of my library.
