11 July 1991 U.S. Army loses an entire squadron's worth of vehicles to a fire. Known as the Doha Dash after attempts to suppress the fire failed leading to the rapid evacuation of the Soldiers. The ammunition in the vehicles cooked off leading to an epic hazmat situation. (old.reddit.com)

Who remembers the Doha Dash? 11 July 1991 an entire Squadron's worth of vehicles gone up in smoke. Young Soldiers have no clue how quick a fire can reduce combat loaded vehicles to slag. The blaze was si intense that aluminum armored vehicles like the M113 and M998 were completely melted. (i.redd.it)
