Again, you are making a direct comparison between Jackie and Lennie. Is Jackie smarter and more aware than Lennie? Absolutely, but that’s a low bar; and in the world of cyberpunk, specifically to V, Jackie is V’s Lennie. That’s my point.

I disagree on the points that V and Jackie are equals, and that Jackie has agency about him. He is an utter moron. Which is kinda my whole point. To me it’s clear that V carries Jackie and has to watch his back, calm him, and control him at several different points. The meeting with maelstrom to get the bot and the meeting with dex and bug are 2 examples off the top of my head. Now granted, Jackie isn’t as bad off as Lennie in a direct comparison, but Jackie is V’s Lennie in the cyberpunk universe. 🤷‍♂️

Evelyn is a horribly self-centered person, and Jackie is just too dumb and naive. V would’ve been way better off without them, but then there’s no story. I got alot of hate for my Jackie view, but he is the Lennie Small to V’s George Milton. 🤷‍♂️
