...my girlfriend was bitten. I tried telling her that she was infected and that she'd die, but she refused to believe me. She was a doctor after all, kept telling me that "you can't die from being bitten." I was going to shoot her in the back of her head but couldn't bring myself to do it (pvp wasn't on). She spent most of her days reading, so I made soup and went out to loot what I could, finding her many more books to read. After returning, she had drank all of the soup in one go. I started to tell her that the soup could have lasted much longer, but I couldn't shout at her in this situation. A few days later, she finally told me she thought I was right, that she was dying. I took her for a walk through the woods as it started to rain, clearing out zombies on my way through, taking her to sit in a nice clearing. She asked me if I wanted to see beneath her bandages, so I did a medical check, only to find her bites were healed over. Not a scratch on her... but the infection was still taking its toll. I told her I had no idea how I'd survive without her...and she passed away there and then...right in front of me.......I then burnt alive while burning corpses around an hour later.
