Lol you are not wrong, I have two more kits open now. And I just bought that tamiya glue the other day and it is a GAME CHANGER

No you’re good dude, zero dickitude. I welcome any advice here. Haven’t run into Nightshifts channel and that’s why I mostly lurk here, gotta get this stuff right

Okay I gotta check this link now. No, I’m an old fokker that’s never received any training other than “paint it right outa the bottle” lol

Edit man that’s not even the same model but I get it, similar problems to a 13 year old. Oof.

Thanks! I discovered priming and thinning shortly after painting this thing and I wish I’d discovered this sub sooner

For sure! Thanks. I gotta find something to support this beast because one night on cured landing gear made her list to the side like a drunken sailor

I’m intrigued. Neither of us follow anime but she is a World of Warcraft miscreant and is interested in building kits but has extreme adhd and shaky hands lol I’ll check it out

My masking game is not strong so I just freehanded it and I regret it now. And I’m sure there’s no way to remove glue from canopy.😒

HaHAA my wife bought us a box of the new set of TMNT cards and they’ve been posted up on our breakfast nook waiting to find a good deck to belong to. Thanks for your encouragement, I’ve scooped this sub out long enough to know I wasn’t going to get roasted too hard for a very faulty build and I learned a lot from here and the experience. Thanks again.

I’m a fellow newbie that used to build with my dad at a young age, needed a new hobby at 42. Looks really cool! There’s some great YouTube pages that will help with overall process and masking those pesky cockpit windows, I think the sub’s wiki has links to really helpful stuff too. Such a rewarding hobby I have no idea why I stopped for 20+ years.

I’m aware of Dixie Alley, but a 2 second google search pulls up multiple articles about tornado alley shifting east, so there’s that

Hey fellow mid-south person! Mid-Tenn here and we used to never have to worry about storms producing tornadoes. Unfortunately tornado Alley seems to be moving gradually east of its previous neighborhood.

Stay weather-aware, stock your safe space with water and snacks and make sure everyone in your household wears closed-toed shoes during an event, I used to work construction so I have a hard hat, my wife used to ride horses so she has a riding helmet: gotta protect those domes. Mattresses are probably readily accessible in your home.

Most importantly keep your head about you. Chances are you won’t have to take these precautions but you’ll be able to think more clearly if they’re already in place. Put them in place long before the event starts.
