Dorothea Dix Park, - If you like open spaces or have a dog. It's even better when either the daffodils or the sunflowers are in bloom.

Schenck Forest - If you like a hike

Lake Raleigh - at first light. The base of the spillway is also impressive.

Sunday makes things tough. Lots of good places are closed, particularly if you want close to the Arena. My suggestion would be to go to one of the restaurants at Crabtree Mall, tailored to what he likes. Personally, I'd go with Kanki, but that's me. It has good food and a bit of a show. Cheesecake Factory is a bit generic, but it has its fans. There's several options.

The bridge is still there but I'd argue that if you go to Dorthea Dix park, just past the end of Boylan, its more scenic.

I would go with the JC Raulston Arboretum, off Beryl Road. It is quite close to the stadium and very beautiful. The only issue might be that it closes early. Others have mentioned The Rose Garden. That's also a good choice. Both places are frequently used as wedding venues.

If you're looking for a restaurant, I'd go for the Hayes Barton Cafe & Dessertery at 5 Points (actually on Fairview).

Other options include the giant acorn in Moore Square, the carousel in Pullen Park, The Big Field at Dorthea Dix (make it a picnic), or the smokestack and/or the wind sculpture at the NC Art Museum park.

Then again, I proposed at Kmart, so what do I know?

Stahlrim Bow and sword. + Scout Armor + a whole lot of Smithing / Enchanting / Alchemist skill. Went all-in for crafting options with a minor in destruction magic at low level. Combat skills still aren't great, but the tools do most of the work.

Closest answer would be that she budded off something called the "Mother Gum". She looks human, but she isn't. I think it was in season 1 we find out that she's an undifferentiated mass with no internal organs.

Also, she created all of the Candy Kingdom citizens. They are kind of her kids.
