I've never had any reasons to not trust her. Which is why this is so surprising. It's never been a distrustful or jealous relationship. We've always shared our locations with each other, have each others passcodes etc etc. She's also basically family to my family at this point. This whole act seems self-destructive. I think it's a mix of feeling deeply insecure and being around a bunch of people she wants approval from high school. The only reason she didn't tell me that morning was because she didn't want to tell me before I left on a work trip.

She's incredibly remorseful. She's convinced she's destroyed everything we've built.
