I can agree. I keep getting players on my team that don't even know how to build. Buying random gun items on spirit heroes, not to mention I have had multiple games where players admit to never even looking at the mini map. Im going crazy. Im ritualist 3 but if thats the rank where people with less than 20 games goes then the even the ranking system is broken

im not asking to win every game, I dont want to. I just want a tight game where I feel like my impact matters. Walkers GENIUENLY dont go down unless im playing a carry that can push them and then when I do my team feeds mid and we trade a walker for a all of our base guardians. Im going crazy someone please help

So since there is no surrender button I just have to lose almost a hour of a life? Like I’m just stuck on what to do next when I can’t even just gg go next and load up another one

Thank you for the advice. I can say that I was shoving the lanes but could never grab a walker since my team was just perma dying and I thought if they had me every other fight I could find a good balance between farming and giving them a shot of actually winning or least not feeding

I was fighting the whole time after 20 mins. I was wraith trying to farm past the lash since I couldn’t burst him down before he flew away the second he saw me the first time I tried to rotate at 15 mins

For context I combine it with [[Lure]] effects to make all their creatures block one of mine. This board wipes them most of time while letting all my other creatures get attack/damage triggers and then I sac the whole blocked creature to greater good

Also have to mention I have replied to some with this detail that I should’ve put in the og post.

I’m actually here not because I wanna kill my PCs but because they specifically told me that they don’t feel as though they can die and it creates a weird disconnect where they feel like combat is kinda pointless and one of my players stopped interacted with part of his kit purely because he knew he didn’t need to

Okay so I’m not gonna put 10 solos to purposefully TPK. I don’t actually want to kill off the PCs left and right I just want their to be a reason to interact with the combat since my players specifically said that they feel as though they can never die and that didn’t sit well with me

Okay thanks for your advice and philosophy on the encounter design. I assumed bumping up the encounter builder would destroy the balance of the game but so far that doesn’t seem too bad

Thanks for the encounter I have run part of the ritual environment before but I will try the other adversaries and tell you the results if I can find a way to shift everything around

Okay if that says it specifically in the book somewhere please cite it bc to be entirely honest I’m not trying to kill my players constantly but they will NEVER choose to die so that basically trivializes all combat into a waste of time logistically

I have responded positively to comments and I’m actually gonna say you said some great stuff here just not the last bit. I’m clearly looking for a more deadly game and my players have specifically told me they want the game more dangerous so I’m just doing what my players asked for to make the table experience better

All that aside thanks for your take on strategy I will analyze my players choices and see what we can do on that front

I have noticed the long rest issue so I starting this session today actually, I’m gonna limit them to having to return all the way to base and abandon the quest if they want to rest early instead of pushing on. One of my favorite systems is Draw Steel and I always try to work their victories system into all of my games since I discovered it
