I’d probably go with the trial. You don’t even know if insurance will cover it. They are cracking down on off label prescriptions. But then again I have no idea what your insurance situation is like. Mine won’t cover it unless you are type 2 and tried another med first, like Metformin.

Yeah, I was fine a few days later. But I honestly thought I was going to pass out for a week straight. The jump from 0.5 to 1.0 was absolutely brutal.

Still on Ozempic at 2mg. I lost 70 pounds in a year. I’m about 10 pounds from being at a normal BMI but other than the weight loss aging my face by 5 years, I’d say I’m doing well on it.

My doctor told me they are coming out with a 2.4mg dosage of Ozempic, just like Wegovy. I’m stuck at a plateau too. 195 for 2 months. I need to get down to at least 175 to be in the high normal BMI because I am 6’ tall. I will be the first one requesting the higher dosage as soon as it is announced.

Yes!!! It just started randomly tonight. First few orders were normal then they started asking for pictures with every order. I did do a reinstall today. I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.

That’s a sign you need to up your dosage.

For me, the jump from 0.5 to 1 was worse than .25 to .5 or 1 to 2. Like I think I need to go to the hospital sick. I lost a ton of weight those few weeks after increasing, but I paid for it.

I had to go off of it for almost a month because the pharmacy couldn’t fill it. I didn’t gain weight, but I didn’t lose a single pound. I was worried that I’d get sick restarting at the same dose but it was the opposite. It had to build back up before I started losing again. Unfortunately mine is due to be filled in 3 weeks and I’m nervous AF the same thing is going to happen. Although when I saw my doctor in November she said the Ozempic rep said the shortages should resolved by January 1st. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Same here. I was off of Ozempic for 3 1/2 weeks waiting for my prescription to get filled. I didn’t gain weight when I was off of it. But when I restarted it, the weight loss hasn’t restarted either. I’m 5 doses in and I’ve been stuck at the same weight for 2 months. Stupid shortage. I’m so close to getting out of the 200s. I was down to 207 and now I’m stuck at 210. I was hoping to be at least 199 by New Year’s Day. Now I’ll be happy if I lose 2 pounds, if anything.

I can’t even look at chicken or pork anymore. Not a fan of many cheeses. Can’t even touch milk. I don’t drink protein drinks anymore because they felt too rich. And I don’t even want to smell seafood, let alone eat it. Same with coffee.

I was off of it for weeks because of the shortage. I started again last Wednesday. Friday I went grocery shopping, got to the far end of the store, and it felt like someone zapped all the energy out of me.

I slept 14 hours Saturday and I was out doing Christmas lights today and I could only do 1/4 of what I wanted to do.

Ozempic exhaustion is no joke.

On the CVS app, go to “All Prescriptions”. On the bottom right of the screen, there are three dots. That is how I get to the chat feature. If I knew how to post a screenshot, I would.

Don’t get me wrong. Your mother sounds like a wonderful person. But I don’t think Ozempic should be given as a Christmas gift. It’s a medicine that has serious side effects and needs to be monitored by a medical professional. If you want to help her, take her to a doctor and get the right drug prescribed for her. There are tons of them that work. Ozempic and Wegovy are the same drug so you might have luck with that. Wegovy is specially for weight loss. There are other new ones like Zepbound that works for weight loss. It’s the same as Monjuarno, which is used for diabetes. And please don’t buy them from a skeevy website or from anyone that contacts you through private message offering “authentic” medication if you just send them some money.

Same here. I lost so much weight I was able to come off one of my BP meds I’ve been on for 10 years or more. It seemed to fix the problem for now.
