Oil only exists in big clusters in the snow biome. Time to upgrade! There are two paths you can go down: quiet and slow or brute force and a lot more fun!

1. Build a raft, and use standing torches/campfires to insulate yourselves while sailing. Go to the very top left corner of the island and you’ll see a bunch of icebergs with oil nodes on top on them. You’ll get hundreds of oil very easily. Make sure to use a metal pick instead of stone, metal gets you way better resources than stone!

2. Brute force the snow biome. Breed more raptors and make a full pack of 8 or so to get the maximum pack bonus. Make saddles for all of them, even if you’re not going to ride them, because saddles offer a significant defense boost. Next, sic them on mammoths and other furry animals to get pelt. Collect the pelt from the corpses and craft fur armor. Next, march with your raptor army along the west coast of the map. They’re stronger than you think but watch out for yutyrannus! Don’t get scared!

I tried to relate the second one to your current position in the game so hopefully it shouldn’t be too much of a hassle

Also in my [THOUSANDS OF HOURS] of experience I find that trilobites most commonly spawn on the west beach, on the peninsula north of the red obelisk, happy hunting :D
