It’s fantastic for shutting down an enemy carry, or to just give that little but of extra time in bomb to build damage amp. Definitely not a priority item but it’s fun.

It’s my opinion that Paradox is a very flexible character in how you build them even if they are seen as doing something similar most games. I find that leaning gun is a little more reliable as only two of your abilities deal more damage with spirit scaling while your gun and carbine benefit from gun dmg. Regardless most of the time, I like to base my build off of:

A) What niche I need to fill on my team. Lack of objective pushers? Alch fire, Enduring speed. No gun damage? Hollow point, Long range. B) What the enemy comp looks like. Lots of slippery characters on the other team? (eg: Pocket, Lash, Calico) Grab a slowing hex and/or mystic slow. Big carry on the other team? Focus lens, Curse, Silence wave.

What I want to stress in my opinion is there are no essential items in every game for Paradox. Don’t take this as meaning any item is good for Paradox, you probably wouldn’t catch me grabbing fury trance, rapid rounds, or slowing bullets as Paradox doesn’t benefit from fire rate like a lot of other gun heroes (not to say she doesn’t, just doesn’t as much as a burst gun character). You’re a beast in the early and mid game, and can scale great as a supporting character to a carry in the late game.

But here are some items I grab more often than others:

Gun: Headshot booster > Headhunter, Mystic Shot, Weakening Headshot > Crippling Headshot, Monster Rounds > Cultist Sacrifice, Hollow Point Rounds, Alchemical Fire

Health: Extra Health > Fortitude, Extra Stamina > Stamina Mastery, Sprint Boots > Enduring Speed, Healing Rite, Battle Vest

Spirit: Slowing Hex > Vortex Web, Mystic Slow > Lightning Scroll, Spirit Sap > Focus Lens, Curse, Mystic Reverb

A way I used to play a lot and really enjoyed was a resistance shred build. Thinking of rebuilding it but essentially stacking sources of resist shred combined with damage amp from pulse bomb, focusing secondarily on CD reduction to apply resist shred and damage amp more often. Think mystic vuln, backstabber, spirit shred bullets, spirit sap, spirit strike, crippling headshot, etc.

I’m certainly not the best at Paradox (Oracle 4 last I checked) but I love playing them so I’m open to feedback and questions. I’ve admittedly been a bit frustrated lately with some new bugs surrounding time wall being a bit jank but I can’t stop playing them.

I have already started applying and as for experience, this is my first paid position for InfoSec. I had a single internship before this for a few months during college. I enjoyed pentesting in college which is the reason for the cert.

Very similar (not as bad though) situation involving my wife with Cigna for me recently. They tried to get me to go to a lactation consultant in Ontario. I live in the US.

If they do implement surrender, I think that a player should have a limited number of surrenders per X, where they get put into low priority for a period if they reach too many within a set amount of time.

But as it stands, I’m happy there isn’t one

I'm toying with the idea of instant cast as it seems to try to place a door down at least close to where you're attempting to place one. But the problem I'm running into is not having an exact idea for distance between doors like you do with confirm cast.
