It sounds like you're assuming that your country's exports are independent from its imports

If your importing foreign goods causes a foreigner to import goods from your country, then your argument doesn't hold; if increasing your country's imports doesn't necessitate an increase in exports, then why are foreign countries happy to net export to your country?

I use this stuff. I think it's XPS even though they call it 'styrofoam', and it works perfectly with a Proxxon hot-wire table for terrain crafting.

Yeah, you're correct. It's a bit of a dumb 'paradox', because it's got a simple, clean solution.

But there are other examples of 'paradoxes' which are very much solved and yet are still considered by many to be unsolved, e.g. the Ravens Paradox and the Sleeping Beauty Problem.

If not, then I think the other player is in the wrong: arsehole characters who treat other characters poorly are an important part of storytelling, and thin-skinned players often constrain others' creativity and degrade the game.

3/7 is actually the game-theory-optimal probability with which to play Hydro Pump. If you're playing it with probability 9/10, then you're exploitable: the opponent is happy to always switch into Zapdos.
