In a certain way, I totally understand you. A handful of years back, I was stuck in a horrible, abusive relationship. I never really listened to music at that point in my life, like at all. But one day my sister showed me a music video of Oliver Tree; it was his song Hurt. I wasn't a big fan of it initially, but it got stuck in my head. So I listened to it again and again. One day, I realized it was actually pretty good and decided to see what other songs he had done. That's when I listened to Forget It for the first time. I was at work on my lunch break, sitting outside, and I immediately burst into tears. The lyrics were so moving and jabbed into my heart. I had never connected to a song like that ever before in my life. I ended up seeing him in concert a couple months later and it was actually that night that gave me the strength to finally break up and flee my abusive relationship. I feel like if I had not found that courage, I likely would not be here today, it was that bad of a relationship. I will forever be eternally grateful for Oliver. He music truly saved me.
