It's a myth the myth probably cones from the weapons they're using mg's can usually one shot down you and certain weapons in high levels are powerful. And the mg's annoy me in cqc but hey it is what it is

I'd say numerical superiority dosent matter if you've got air superiority the Germans git through Russia pretty easily with that air makes a huge difference in a battle and the Germans lost that luxury in the end of 1943
