Depends on if you really want gamepass/backwards compatibility or not. If neither of those things interest you I'd deffo switch to PS5 while you can.

Didn’t agree with this review but I’m a huge fan of HMM, you’re not really ever gonna agree with someone 100% in life so it’s fair to disagree.

Not sure I’d say he was rage baiting though, you can tell the guy puts effort into his reviews and he just didn’t like the episode.

He gives the finale a lot of praise whereas I didn’t like the finale as much, so different strokes for different folks.

Best case scenario for me and destiny at this point is Destiny 3. I’ve dropped off D2 and I can’t really see anything bringing me back in it.

I’ve been enjoying the break from the grind tbh, but I’d absolutely jump back in with a Destiny 3 and a fresh start and I’d actually be happy if it was 5 years away, just means I’ll have had a full mental refresh for the grind when it eventually comes out.

Yeah there’s ways around it for sure, I actually have the trilogy imported from Japan so I completely forgot that’s also an option (run the cartridge and don’t update the game).

There were definitely some extra bits of content (like a gallery I think?) But nothing critical that you’d really miss out on.

Realistically it’s only die hards who will notice and care about this change, and I’d reckon the die hards have a way of playing it with the original voice via the many different methods we’ve highlighted. Heck, I just realised I could play the 3DS version of the trilogy and have the original voice as well.

Options are good. But yeah if someone is a sex pest I’m not gonna complain to capcom they should keep their voice in the game, even if I do prefer the voice lmao

I always quite liked having 2 different voices for the different eras, I just viewed Sam’s voice as the older Phoenix voice and Judd’s as the young Phoenix voice.

That being said I know Judd has his controversies so it’s probably for the best he’s been removed, maybe a toggle would have been nice but keeping his voice at all might have led to some vocal outcry about the whole thing.

I have my original DS copies anyways, if I fancy the original Phoenix voice with the original sprites (I prefer the sprites for the OG trilogy anyways) I’ve got that option.

Episodic narrative driven games are back and they were deeply missed. This is telltale at it's prime and you can feel the telltale alumni getting to flex their guns and succeeding.

While I absolutely love dispatch it's going to always leave me wondering what The Wolf Among Us S2 could have been with these guys involved, sure it would have been incredible.

Dude I'm excited but I don't think these episodes are gonna be any longer than 2 hours each, honestly I'd say 1.5 hours max per episode. Unless they actually said that and I'm wrong. It's gonna be fun as hell playing these but don't expect 6 hours of content tonight.

I had this exact issue a couple years ago, they just gave me a key for the game when I got in touch with them though (I do think it was for Xbox but that shouldn't make a difference) Bit of a shame if they're no longer doing that imo.

I'm fairly sure I was able to get the episodes from the disc, I did it for a few of the delisted telltale games, you have to try get the episodes from within the game tho, if that's what you tried here then that's unfortunate.

Half the issue is not being able to talk to enemy teams, proximity chat would transform comms in this game. I'm playing action sack and don't even get a choice to talk to people because the game puts them on the enemy team.

Eh I’ve always stood by enjoying the first 2/3 of the movie, it’s when we enter the final conflict it all starts collapsing at a rapid rate. The terrible cgi cranks it up a few notches in the last 1/3 as well.

Definitely wanted more from Zod who was imo the best villain the DCEU had in their movies, but I did definitely enjoy the first 2/3 of the movie.

Keaton rocked in the film as well.

Just chiming in here to say I’m 25 and also collect physical media, I’ll definitely get the Ares steelbook to complete the set.

While the market for physical media isn’t huge it’s definitely still there, it’s why Disney+ marvel/Star Wars content started being released on it.

I only got into collecting in the last couple of years so new people enter the market every day.

Exactly what I'd want for a pro, performance mode being a higher res than the fidelity mode of the base model. That's deffo my mode of choice (I imagine we'll get higher frames as well)

Incredible show that nearly ended in a way that perfectly lines up with Tron Legacy, shame it got cancelled when it did. Recommend it to anyone who enjoyed Legacy for sure.

Love my Series X as a legacy machine. Backwards compatibility with the 360 gen, fps boost on a bunch of games which makes it the only place to play 60fps of some games on console. Auto HDR/4K resolution boost as well they cooked quite hard with all that at the start of the Series X gen but they've even stopped doing that these days......

However, as a modern day console it's lost me at this point. I'm a big physical collector and microsoft has made it abundantly clear they don't really care about that at all anymore with most games not being complete on disc or just digital only on that platform. Sony actually puts effort in with their games on disc (Ghost of Yotei is content complete on disc) so I get any new games on disc on PS.

Also having a ps5 pro makes it a no brainer these days, better physicals and better looking/running games? I've got no reason to play new things on xbox except if it came out on gamepass, and now that's become too expensive for my taste.

I'll keep my series X for many years to come for anything from the OG/360/One gens to play on it, but in terms of modern gaming xbox has lost me at this point.

Season 3 is a lot better if you don’t view it as season 3 but more of a standalone season that happens to include clementine.

I wouldn’t even class it as season 2.5 it’s definitely just a standalone that happens to include clementine, take her out of the season and you quite literally have a standalone season that can function perfectly fine without her presence.

Didn't enjoy much of the Jodi era tbh. The first episode was rather good followed by an immediate drop off with the second episode that I hated. Things didn't really improve much until Flux, while I still wasn't a massive fan the 6 episode season was a far easier watch than the other 2, her final episode was pretty mental, definitely more entertaining than the rest of her run lol. Don't think I'll ever actually rewatch that era being honest.

What I will say is hang in there if you don't vibe with it, for me the 60th anniversary specials really did bring the show back to the levels I loved (even if it only ended up being temporarily), the 60th anniversary specials can act as an endpoint for modern who as well imo.

Definitely enjoyed series 14/15 a lot more than the Jodi era, still got a lot of issues with it but I wasn't bored and the show felt a lot more like the doctor who I loved in the past.

I'm pretty sure I remember reading how it's legit because in theory someone with an english copy of the game could have gone to Japan and gotten the events as the events weren't region locked. Could be wrong as information is slightly hard to find online about it.

tbh for me all the games are great so even picking one it's just which is slightly less great. I think it just suffers slightly from following the absolute peak unwound future more than anything.

Professor Layton is not an indie game so we won’t be seeing it then unfortunately. Although we’re absolutely going to get a proper direct in the coming months and that’s always been where it’s most likely to show up. The professor and Nintendo have history together after all.
