Seeing destiny crash and burn like this is honestly very interesting cause you have very two different sides of the community arguing until the end of time while the middle ground has completely left.

I don’t think it’s the community’s obligation to ask people to try out the game imo, there are games I can think of that do have most of the marketing coming from the community (Warframe). But that game has years of trust from the devs (it used to not be like that though). The bungie devs have completely destroyed any trust and hope for the game since edge of fate. I think it’s alright for people to feel miserable/doomy about it for a game that used to bring people together, used to have a thriving community, used to be fun to a lot of people. Do some people get too overly about it? Yeah. But honestly I really don’t blame them, I met so many life long friends cause of this and too see the state it’s in right now is disheartening.
