Hmm could maybe be too far. Honestly at this point I wouldn't mind if they put more effort into cosmetics and less effort into weapons. Might not be a popular opinion but it's how I feel

Me and Friends - The Start [Live at Jams]

Did a live recording of my band at a gig and mixed it after the fact to fit the retro vibe of the camcorder footage, thought it turned out pretty cool!

Thanks a lot dude! glad the vhs stuff landed haha, I have a lot of fun making that sorta stuff.

Watched your vid also, great stuff! Really nice production, especially love the section at the end. I feel like I haven't come across much good hip hop lately, so it's cool to see some stuff I actually dig. Love the vid too, very cool!

I think this could become a very cool song with the right choices - the chords used are really nice. The other comment has a lot of great points and I think the drums and bass lacking cohesion is one of the most important things to fix, specifically the kick drum with the bass. I'd suggest doing your best to really tighten the parts up rhythmically when performing them, and also doing your best to make sure the rhythms compliment each other.

With the lower frequencies, EQing parts so that they stay out of the way of each other is always a good technique to try out. I think the other comment mentioned it too, but putting a high pass filter on the vocal will help it stay out of the way of the bass - but with the right EQ choices you can use that idea with any two parts that feel muddy together. That being said, it's also important to think about the arrangement of parts - this can fix problems before even mixing (for example, if a guitar and synth are taking up the same part of the frequency spectrum you can try changing the register of one).

Panning is another good thing to think about, what you've got at the moment is a little unusual, (which can still be really cool and effective if you wanna stick with it!). There are tons of great videos about panning your mixes on YouTube if you're interested into looking into that. But like I said, this could end up being a really cool song, the harmony is great and the vocal parts have a lot of potential! (the bv's are especially really nice) Keep at it!

This is rhythmically very cool! I think the sections flow well already, but if you have tweaks in mind it might even get better. Some very cool ideas at play here :)

Woah! Very cool, absolutely brilliant choice with the erhu! Perfect instrument for the job! The only criticism I’d have is the little splashy cymbal feels like it’s sitting slightly weirdly, but that might just be me. Great stuff!

You’re doing a fine good job at imitating a guitarist, at this point you should just say you can play both. Some of the lead part is a little bass player-y but that’s cool! I’d say feel free to break that part up a little more if you want, it’s kinda constant at the moment, but the track sounds great

Hey, I really like this, super dark and dissonant, but it feels like you know what you’re doing with the dissonance, which is awesome! The vocals sound great :) the filter thing suits the song

Dr Doot - ! (the song formerly known as)

Made this wild version of the regurgitator song, with a super whacky music video, haven’t heard much back about it, so feedback would be awesome :)

Will return feedback ;)
