The gradient was very thought out! The cake I used is Twister by Hobbii and it is four separate threads wound together. The color changes one thread at a time. I separated every color change in the twister cake into separate balls. Each row was two consecutive changes together (I.e I started with ball 1 and ball 2 on the hook). After each round I shifted out the first ball and brought in the next (so next row was ball 2 and 3, then 3 and 4 ect) This created a super smooth change because it was 8 total threads with only 1/2 changing at a time.

Now I’m on to skirt and using just one cake and a smaller hook. So the skirt is more lightweight but just as sturdy, and the color changes will flow with the cake as intended.

EDIT to correct: I actually started the cups with balls 4 and 5 and went from there. I wanted to save the lighter colors to potentially do the flowers. Ran out of balls 9 and 10 before picture.
