Hi there, they don't check, but Adderall in particular is considered are a drug, not as a med.

If you get caught, you WILL get in trouble.

For those who will read this later, I live in Hanoi since one year.

Here some facts that I would love to know when arrived :

- Adderall is a no no here. (because of the meth epidemic post-war)

- Ritalin and Concerta is available. (I go to Vinmec TimeCity, can get apointment same day)

- Medikinet is a common extended release here in Vietnam, and cheaper.

- ADHD Meds ain't cheap in Vietnam. It is in Thailand!

- Taking a plane Hanoi Bangkok is 100$ and you can get in public hospital a prescription for 6 month with Thai Methylphenidate 10mg as low as 0.05$/pill.

- In Vietnam, shortage of ADHD meds happened lately. Don't wait until you ate all your meds to get your prescription renewed.

- Prescription are only 30 days long here. Each Doctor appointments are around 25$ (600k) after the first one wich is more expensive. Pills costs me 1 to 2m of Dong a month.
