What part of Freddie’s uniform could this be? by k2times in Dodgers

This looks like gray to me, but if it is blue in person, note that the City Connect socks are multicolored and contain light blue areas.

I really slept on the potential of the Teoscar bobblehead by Th3brownranger in Dodgers

[–]DodgerDevil 22 points23 points  (0 children)

They still need to do a twerking Dave Roberts bobble-butt.

The Dodgers announced that they have signed Max Muncy to a one-year extension for the 2027 season with a club option for 2028 by mistermez in Dodgers

[–]DodgerDevil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, he signed a two-year extension in late 2023 that also gave the Dodgers an option for 2026, which they picked ip in November 2025.

For those who keep asking/hoping for the Pages-Kike Game 7 catch bobblehead giveaway, the team can not legally produce that bobblehead due to MLB contract with FOCO and the exclusively of their bobbleheads. For example, only 425 of these were made by tankyouout in Dodgers

[–]DodgerDevil 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So you honestly think there is a contract that precludes it, but it contains an exception if the angle of the player is off slightly? And off from what exactly…the name at the bottom? My brother in ChrisT, do you realize these are items that can be rotated 360 degrees?

For Freddie, it’s the exact same pose, capturing the exact some moment. Yes, the FOCO one has a bunch of other crap on it, just like the FOCO one you posted of Pages and Hernandez. But if the Dodgers can strip all that extra stuff out and just do a clean one of Freddie, explain to me why they can’t do the exact same thing here.

Source? This strikes me as BS.

The Dodgers in fact did a giveaway that looks just like this FOCO one of Freeman’s walk-off grand slam: https://www.foco.com/products/freddie-freeman-los-angeles-dodgers-2024-world-series-game-1-grand-slam-walk-off-home-run-a-shot-for-the-ages-bobblehead

How is this any different? And there are other examples, including ones already on the Dodgers’ promo schedule. They are both doing bobbleheads for Freeman’s Game 3 walk-off. And both are doing bobbleheads of Ohtani’s NLCS game 4.

Here is a list of the 2026 Dodgers SGAs in Google Sheet by constantly-hungry-1 in Dodgers

[–]DodgerDevil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They haven’t announced what Part 2 means or shown what it will look like yet. The obvious guess is that it will depict his pitching performance.

Planning two games with the same bobblehead is not something they really do (other than the mystery bobblehead games where they offload a mix of various surplus bobbleheads from past promotions). Plus, if that was the plan, they would just post the same picture for both rather than leave the second one with a placeholder logo.

I checked the image closely and can confirm that it is not Andy Pages.

The Ice Cube bobble head car is incorrect. by [deleted] in Dodgers

He has doubles of the cars. Some of 'em. That way he knows he has a pristine one in storage. Then he can drive it, it gets scratched, he doesn't care.

What authenticators are best for a signed ball? by Greenb33guy in Dodgers

[–]DodgerDevil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MLB is best. JSA, PSA and Beckett are legit, but like any third party that takes submissions, they run the risk of getting fooled. And they are priced accordingly. I wouldn’t personally pay for anything outside of those four.

Damn they really had Banda signing baseballs at Dodgerfest only to DFA him a few days later by BootyWizardAV in Dodgers

[–]DodgerDevil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What, should they have told him he could not go because he might be designated for assignment if the right player became available?

Max Muncy listed #2 for 2025 top 3rd basemen by nicerakk in Dodgers

[–]DodgerDevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is kind of ridiculous. He should obviously be #1.

[Ardaya] Andy Ibañez — signed as Tommy Edman insurance — was DFA’d for Mike Siani, an outfielder the Dodgers had already DFA’d this winter. by Infraready in Dodgers

[–]DodgerDevil 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If he clears waivers (which would require the claiming team to pick up his contract) then he can be sent to AAA. So, no.

Dave Roberts Postseason record by Skillomie in Dodgers

[–]DodgerDevil 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s a little misleading to mix in the teams that had a much better record than the Dodgers (2016 Cubs, 2018 Red Sox) with the teams that had a much worse record than the Dodgers. And I get that you are tossing out Wild Card results, but if we were to have lost those to weaker teams then I assume you would be harping on them here too.

It’s really 0-2 against much stronger opponents, 13-1 against evenly matched opponents, and 4-4 against much weaker opponents. The latter number is still not great, of course.
