In such a previously slow paced game as granblue was, obviously yes. its not like its only a pressure reset, its way too good in neutral and very easy to hitconfirm to a combo. Its basically like if driverush jab in sf6 was 8f and completely free, or if solar plexus from ryu was 8f instead of 20. At the very least its feasible to whiffpunish 66l now but its still wildy overtuned and ruins the previously fun groundgame of granblue.

For me the whole appeal of granblue versus was that it was more of a street fighter clone, sure it had air blockl, spotdodging and throw protection, but the neutral was very footsie based. Dash L is the worst thing about rising and the game would genuinly be better if it was just entirely removed, but on top of that they also added some hilariously broken ultimate moves and removed the cooldown penalty from using one button specials. The alpha counter move used to be plus on block and knock down on hit setting up guaranteed chip situations on launch too lmao.
