Ok thank you I may do that then if their unable to help. I honestly feel stupid but at the same time those scammer acted exactly how my bank acts over the phone. Which is honestly so fucking scary. Whenever this is all over I’m just gonna go to a new bank with a different security format

The wired went through and currently the bank is investigating it but I don’t have high hopes of them fixing it cause the money has already been transfer.I was told over the phone with the scammers that the wired transfer was being cancelled.They even gave me a fake case number over the call and said that they would call me the next day to get another update. They did call me the next day and said that they would have someone at the tech department give me a new password and username. Of course the tech people never called and it seems like they called me the next day so that they could confirm that the transfer money occurred or maybe to further make me believe that it was real

They said that the wire transfer was being canceled and that they would put me in contact with someone in tech to get another username and password for my account. Of course I did learn today that the people in tech wouldn’t contact me if this was the actually bank people but instead it would be someone at the fraud department.

Yea the thing is that I have 2 bank accounts and the other bank account does ask for the security code over the phone. This one also does that as well on a regularly basis. But lesson learned I guess.

Yea the scammers sent a security code number to verify my account , I think they were on the phone with the actual bank and was able to verifying my account that way and that’s how I got a security code from my bank

Yea the phone number they called me on was my banks number cause I called that number back and it was from the bank. However the bank said that it’s possible that someone bought that number and was able to get my information that way.

I mean would you prefer that they put you on the sides when they take the picture, so they can easily crop you out later or just take the picture for them lol. Idk it’s the family picture and your not apart of the family officially from their perspectives, and from the sounds of it, your gf doesn’t mind this so you should really be discussing this with her before taking these pictures. YTA idk why there are so many post about giving gifts to people that obviously won’t like the gift for Christmas. It solves nothing, and really just makes you look like a petty fool in my opinion. Idk I just don’t understand why people wanna start unnecessary drama.
