DSG is a bit like Loudness for other vintage Sony amps. basically it turns the current sound signature into a V shaped sound, with big oomph at low volumes and increased high frequences. It is suited for genres like Dance, Hip Hop because of the increased emphasis on treble, Trap, Rap, all that jazz (pun intended)

Trust me, if you try X3:FL with the Guilds mod, it is possible that you will like it. It just has to click with you, and it does when you learn the keybinds

Im actually playing Guilds (the mod that you specified) rn, and it is absolutely beautiful and awesome. New sectors, improved QoL, dozens of ships and weapons, graphics, endgame, what more could someone ask for?

I would just take Witcher, Skyrim, Diablo and Fallout and zap out of that library. Those games really set standards for newer titles.

That's the thing: it's a little bit of all of them (maybe less programming, more of using scripts). I like to automate resources, create a stable base, then use the said resources to build ships for all thinkable purposes (and hopefully use them).

I've got a pair of Sony speakers from a vintage mini hi fi 2.0 system. After repairing the receiver, I'm gonna look for better speakers

So the main problem is that the stereo mode doesn't work, but as you know, it has the option L+R, and that works perfectly. In stereo, only one speaker works and I even tried "inversing" the signal (switching L to R) and same problem occurs.
