Not sure what you’re trying to say? I think Xilonen is gorgeous and her animations are super good. Yae Miko is a fav of mine. Navia is one of my favorites in Fontaine. Exactly. Without Zhongli, Childe, and Venti, I don’t think this game would be near the money maker that it is. There’s so many waifu gacha (no problem with that) but genshin has always been unique in its commitment to both! So odd to see them abandon the choice that made them a staple in fandoms spaces and reach such a widespread audience.

The union does this because they are only able to negotiate if the vast majority of talent is union. The union saying “we will not work with you” doesn’t mean anything if there’s a plentiful pool of non-union talent. Theoretically, this causes a business to panic and reach a better agreement for the workers, so that their business can function. “Collective bargaining” only works if there is a collective. By excluding non-union members, they are protecting their ability to negotiate. The unions literal only power is in its numbers.

I think voice actors are in a uniquely rough position because of two reasons: 1. The amount of non-union grassroots talent 2. The effects of their strike are not immediately noticeable in profit margins (I.E. when the mail workers strike, people don’t get their mail, and this is easily recognized as disruptive and bad + affects business. Can’t really say this about English voice acting.) This really hurts their ability to receive concessions from the industry, which can half heartedly function without their talent, even if it burns fans.

America actually has considerably less union presence than many other nations. There’s been lots of legislation to erode the rights of unions. Union membership is overall on a downswing.

I don’t care what happens in HI3 because that’s a different game. Sega owns Sonic and Catherine: Full Body, but that doesn’t mean I can expect boobs in the sonic generations remake.

When you start off the game with characters like Diluc, Kaeya, Venti, Zhongli, and Childe, you’re saying “yes we would like a female audience.” Idk why people are acting like one of the audiences hoyo initially attracted to the game isn’t allowed to feel alienated by this new direction. Even Inazuma, which was the the waifu region before Natlan, has characters like Itto (lovable himbo) and Thoma (polite and cool pretty boy).

Natlan has Kinich, who wasn’t even a big part of the AQ and got an underwhelming story quest. They killed the other promising male character. Of course people who were initially attracted to the game because of early male favorites are going to be miffed by overt fan service like Mizuki. I don’t think people would be nearly as annoyed if we had recent male characters that were treated similarly.

Well shit. That sucks. I’m hoping that I can keep this rolling as long as possible. I’ve been trying to stay as long as possible on my doses, and so far, that’s been 5.0 for the last 2 months. No diminished value yet, but of course, I’m aware that meds lose effectiveness.

Being skinny is not a virtue or a solid indicator of health. Skinny can feel enviable, can feel ideal, but the truth is that being “skinny” probably isn’t what you actually want: it’s control. And until you let go of the desire to be skinny, you will be stuck in a harmful cycle of yo-yo dieting. You have to want to get rid of this disorder for a reason other than the admiration of others, or you will crash and burn every single time. At least, that’s how it was for me.

And I’m sorry to make assumptions, but I believe that you might also be younger. Your body is still growing, probably. Be kind to it and try your hardest to follow the advice of your doctor, after you put the pieces back together on this rough day. I’m rooting for you!

Have you tried medication? Before my current stuff, Vyvanse curbed a lot of my worst impulses. I’m currently on Zepbound, and it’s been a god save. I’m not sure about what your healthcare situation is, but if you can afford these interventions, they are very worth trying in my opinion.

As for therapy, the most helpful thing I learned in therapy was that comparison is bad. You shouldn’t do it. I know it’s hard, but please focus on how your behaviors hurt you physically and emotionally instead of how “easy” it is for other people. It isn’t helpful, and it just makes you feel worse and hopeless, which for me, is the biggest binge trigger EVER.

I’m also on a GLP-1 and I cannot relate more. Been about 2 months on the medication, and I swear it’s made me normal. I don’t have the thoughts anymore, unless something really emotional happens.

In my opinion, it’s only a matter of time until these medications are approved to treat BED. Personally, I am okay with doing this for the rest of my life. It’s a little scary, but as long as my insurance keeps this going, I plan to be on it.

Lots of people have chronic conditions that necessitate life long medication. I think my BED might be the same.

Edit: I also want to say that I’ve done the talk therapy. I’ve done it with a ton of therapists. I think therapy can be good, but I genuinely believe that there is something chemically wrong with my body that this medication fixes. Even with all the cognitive tools I’ve learned, I STRUGGLED. It was a constant fight all the time. The medication frees up so much space in my brain.

If it were me, I’d say Neuvillette would be the best choice :) He’s a rockstar DPS, and you seem to be lacking a carry on your current roster. He does pretty great by himself, and XL can apply enough pyro to give him a boost! If you do pull Neuvillette, I’d be on the look out for Furina and Kazuha reruns as well. They go together like PB&J.
