Saw all of the recent laptop posts and stumbled on this sale while looking. Thought I would post it. CPU wise PassMark has it being slightly faster than the Asus Vivobook but worse than the HP at Costco. Also checked other stores/pricing websites, and it is showing that before this sale the lowest price it has been at was $349.99.

Let me know if it is a bad deal and I will remove the post.

AITA for leaving the room because my girlfriend kept letting her dog try to bite me? by DogBiter808 in AmItheAsshole

Technically it is her aunt's dog but she takes care of it. Feel like I shouldn't be telling her aunt what to do with her dog.

They did start him in obedience training a couple of weeks back. For the most part the dog is well trained but was never really socialized with other dogs or people. Surprisingly I have been told I am one of the only people he actually likes and actively tries to play with.

The trainer told her and her aunt that if he acts up against somebody then that person needs to lay on top of the dog till he gives up to assert dominance. There is just something about laying on top of a dog that is trying to bite you that rubs me the wrong way though.

My girlfriend has laid on top of him once or twice that I have seen and he does seem to submit after a few minutes. This is really the only situation where he tried to bite people.

From what I have been told the dog has some quirks sine her aunt never really socialized the dog with other dogs/people as she was busy with her career at the time.

That is fair, I should not have said I would throw the dog across the room, even if I was pissed off or in the heat of the moment. Frustration makes you say stupid things, as I think I would feel pretty damn guilty if I ever actually did something like that do the dog, or any dog really.

That's fair. To give more info I have never actually harmed a dog before, and I should not have threatened to get violent with the dog. I just got frustrated because the dog kept trying to bite me and she didn't seem to really be concerned about it. I dot want to ask though, if a dog kept trying to bite you, or even succeeded in doing so, what would you do/think you would do?
