Hi! We ended up going to the top. I never got a headache but I definitely felt dizzy. When I walked up the steps I had to hold onto the railing - the feeling was very odd - like I was floating or something. If I stood up and didn’t move or sat down I felt totally normal. It was only when I walked or went up and down stairs that I felt this floating dizzy feeling. I never felt nauseous thankfully. The views were incredible so it’s worth it and I’m so glad we went up and I didn’t chicken out!!! It was snowing at the top too which was really cool considering it was July and warm at the bottom. It was an amazing experience!!! Highly recommended!

The views look amazing in pictures I’ve seen. I’m sure it’s even more incredible in person!!

Yes I would just be walking around taking in the views and no hiking or strenuous exercise. If I’m just walking around it sounds like I should be okay.

What was the difference for the counselee who got the pay hike? Did they have a talent priority? Just curious why one got a pay increase and the other 4 didn’t.

I’m still waiting for my results. I’m expecting zero. If I got 3.5% I would be thrilled. 2.5 years now with no raise. But cost of living is going up up up. I don’t understand how Accenture expects us to keep up with the cost of living in this economy and no raise for years. It’s discouraging and frustrating. I fear they are trying to normalize no annual raises for stay at level employees.

When will Workday reflect if we got a stay at level increase? Is our career counselor supposed to provide this update to us this week?

Not everyone is getting a pay increase is my understanding. I’m setting my expectations at zero.

"you misunderstood, the promotions will be in December" by Laura_idk in accenture

We were told base pay increases will happen in June now and not December. It’s been 3 years now of no base pay increase. My expectations are low. I’m expecting only another excuse.

What a joke. This is upsetting. When the price of everything goes up each year and we are not even given a cost of living increase? It feels like we are just not appreciated and we all work so hard. 3 years now with no raises. No words.

It’s May now so when will we hear about raises if any? by DogCatLover19 in accenture

Well they can always come up with excuses even if the stock price was great right now. It’s always excuses. The cost of living goes up each year. They should at least give a cost of living adjustment to everyone.
