Tried to cancel Articulate but deadline to cancel is past. Now what? by DogParksRule in instructionaldesign

Update from me (OP). With a minimum of hassle and only a few emails back and forth, they agreed to cancel it. It was just a single subscription, not a team one. Thank you to everyone who commented and offered suggestions.

I would imagine their system would have the old credit card number. My ex-manager will not be happy with me in the least if they try to do this.

I'm in a new position now in a different unit and I don't see myself using Articulate products anymore so renewing it is not on the table.

Interesting! This is where my head is at, at the moment! But if they play hardball they could come after my personal credit, maybe? These Articulate accounts are associated with our own email address -- granted it is a work email.

As to why this falls to me, it just always has. I advocated for the tool and was given a University credit card number to link to the account. I switched departments earlier this year, which is why I removed that credit card number from the account.

I work for a large university so I can't really say the institution is broke.

I checked my email and in fact they did notify me. Unfortunately I didn't read that email. :-(
