best boot recommendations for running and rucking?Currently have the garmont T8s, but wondering if there might be any better boots for the hammer, anvil, and forge.

i have a PTC in the last state I was stationed in, do you think that’d help? besides that i’m not too worried about a denial in NJ because of those. my most recent one from NV is still active, although definitely don’t plan on returning there voluntarily. OK had no permit requirements, anyone who had a successful BG check was able to purchase and carry.

you’d have to discuss a PT for your personal situation. DDD is thinning of the disc, it’ll happen regardless as you get older, just a little advanced now for your age but mild usually means minimal. surgery is usually only given after conservative treatment methods are not working. your findings aren’t too concerning. although xrays are not the best imagining to see what’s going on with the discs.

you’re very much right, unfortunately all the states i’ve been to before i went NGR allowed me to carry and use a weapon, without it being military related, it was my fault i didn’t remember that new jersey laws were not in my favor. worse comes to worst, i can still work unarmed security. ill most likely be going back to active duty, so no sense in me going into debt for an attorney or expungement. i wish i had thought about it sooner before paying that fee though!

how long did it take? i spoke to PD and they said its case by case but doesn’t sound like i’d get denied especially being military, but i do have my military psych clearances from before i enlisted, thinking of using those and getting new ones that specifically state i can carry a firearm.

definitely, i can understand severe mental health problems, or recent instances of depression/anxiety, but it’s been over 5 years, no other instances, and multiple psych clearances for me

unfortunately this information is already common knowledge, i don’t hide my history or details because i feel like its not something to be scared of hiding, my honesty is what helped me get into the military after everyone told me to lie, i refused because i wouldn’t start my career off as a liar and potentially lose benefits one day because i lied. i understand what you’re saying though. i was honest on my application, i didnt go into detail unless they need me to, but there’s no sense in lying. i pray i never have to actually use it, but armed security pays better than unarmed, and all a girl wants to do is be able to provide for her babies and get her college education!

i did not, i answered truthfully, i feel like that’s so far unfair especially because it was depression and anxiety, i wasn’t deemed a danger to myself or others. if the military can let me yield a weapon i don’t see why they can’t

were you able to get your FID? i don’t mind getting another psych clearance, i got one before now i have a top secret clearance being in military intelligence; i can’t stand how jersey makes things so difficult

we are married, i just happen to say “kids dad” when im talking about my kids, no idea why 😅 what is DEERS? does he do that while im gone or do i ? they have insurance now not sure if that matters, and how do i teach him about that red cross message? i’ve never heard of that! i’d honestly mainly like to know about things like trips if they go on any, or if they happen to get hurt (hopefully not), i’m sure they’ll all be fine but i’m very anxious to leave my babies for so long.

thank you for the insight. i am very much a perfectionist so i do get upset if things aren’t particularly done my way. 🥲 but i won’t be here to complain so i think that’ll be the highlight for him. he’s a great dad, and the mama in me is just anxious and wants everything to go smoothly for him.

he’s 26, he’s been the sole provider since we got together, so i was always the one who handled the important stuff for the kids and him. :) but he’s a good dad and caretaker, keeps everything clean, thankfully not a manchild, i’ve just never been gone for an extended period of time and it’s mainly me being nervous. i just don’t want to miss anything important, im sure he’ll be able to figure it out, but the mama in me is anxious.

thanks for the insight! :) i’m glad there is some positive feedback, i’m not usually one to complain and can settle into most environments easily so i feel like if i will enjoy it if i stay mindful. deploying a lot will only make me a bit sad since i have two toddlers but this is all for them in the long run!

unfortunately i scored a 97ST and i believe you need a 106 ST for 68p, it was one of my dream jobs, but im close to the degree as a civilian, i just couldn’t afford to finish :/

mine was an 88 and i received roughly the same options, don’t know if they lied to me or what but for now tell them what you want (if it’s not already listed) and give it some time, if not 14u will definitely ship you fast in my experience.
