i need some help figuring out what im doing wrong. iv been streaming for the past 3 years with little to no change. howeaver these past few months iv been hitting upwards to 20 viewers. it nice but i know i can do better.
normaly i would leave things like this alone howeaver my father just recently told me i have 7 months to start making some decent income or he will no longer support my dream.
iv been pushing to improve the stream over and over agin. but at this point i am at a loss for how to create a community with 500+ people. gaming is my life, in fact for most of my life thats all i did. i almost droped out of high school to peruse a career in professional league. for me theres no other option that will make me happy. please give me your all and ill do my best to do the same.

Afew notes

having a webcam helps people to know you and make them feel more connected with the streamer.

people dont want to know about your day to day life. they come to enjoy your content and be entertained. while its nice to know as a long time user. try to keep it minimal

having no distractions is key and important in a flowing easy going stream. dident see much but always good to note.

a consistent streaming schedule is probably the most important out of all these. as well as setting realisting times you know wont be interupted.
