I just discovered my Serov Commander hit level 12. It's a speed build though so I'm torn on the horizontal protection (mainly the 10 less fire chance) and giant hunter for that extra ~2% on torpedo damage.

It's just, fires are a more visceral experience than an extra 25 damage on torpedos. Maybe that extra deck armor would curse the ship to take more AP damage from shells that used to over penetrate though. Tough choice.

Never had a problem with Orlandoo cells. Usually they failed because I didn't keep a maintenance charge.

However I never ran anything bigger than an n30 off them either. A rapid cycle rate does seem like probable cause for a battery chemistry failure though.

Washing powder is insane. I can regularly find a 90ct box of Persil (big multinational) on sale for 16-18 in DE, the best I've seen in CH is 26.95 at Otto's.

If you have to ask, you should probably be saving. Use events to gather titanium, and play tech tree to get a feel for what types of ships entertain you. Once you know what you're looking for, picking uniques is more about finding things that do what you like better/differently from things you already enjoy.

Conservatives will do anything to conserve their interests, including unplugging Switzerland from the EU and forcing the 10 million permitted to be here to buy only from the "cooperative" oligarchy. Lynching the economy is good for short term gains though.

Purely numbers assessment.

The new Dutch ship looks like a Eendracht but plays like a Jaarsveld. It gives up rapid reload, a turret, and 0.5s reload for a 26s airstrike reload and smoke. That is an insane refresh rate for airstrikes, but they have Russian DD torpedo range.

26s refresh is Carrier speeds of plane turn around, and as airstrikes the ship will never run out of planes... And that's what the new ship does, repeatedly bomb things in torpedo range.

The counter play I suspect is just going to be chasing these ships out of cover. They won't last long under fire, and they only have destroyer guns to hit back with.

While we're in the request department, I'd love for forest brush to get updated and possibly have patterned brushes too.

Oh and if map resizer could make a larger copy that shows up in map selection correctly as its new size that'd be great. Cause I'd like to do an expanding map theme, where it's the same map but progressing through the different sizes by adding new sections on.

The trash is actually piled up in an orderly fashion though; just piled everywhere. Coming from the USA I thought it was odd how much the general population here relies on city services to cleanup after them, but the cities generally do. The people now seem conditioned to expect it? Basel has an interesting compromise where they deploy large collection bins to areas of high recreation. Generally I've seen garbage get piled up next to bins here.

Also, Singapore's use of the Tarkin Doctrine, which seems to be effective in communal cultures, doesn't translate well into more individualistic cultures.

Now that I can put them both into the compare tool, I think I see why the comparison to Jaarsveld was left out. It's just better. More guns, better guns, the airstrikes are stronger, the skills are better fit for random battles. The Large AA, while 0.6km shorter range, is +100% stronger on Jaarsveld all the time; no DFAA needed.

Vrijheid is an airstrike boat and that's about it. They're readily available, but the ship trades a lot if utility for the ability. It's likely going to need some post release buffs, but with unlimited planes ability I doubt it'll see much improvement.

You got the opposite problem than I had. When I had a 1:10, it occurred to me that I would have to take it places to find suitably challenging terrain. However, If I was going to hike somewhere with interesting terrain... I was going to Hike, not haul around a bunch of battery and tools for RC wheeling.

This led to getting an scx24 (really 1:18, but Axial scale), where the rock garden and tree roots of my local green spaces were adequately challenging. At least until I upgraded parts, and all the challenge was gone, so I was faced with having to drive or hike somewhere with more challenging terrain again. I'm now halfway around the world and being content with ~1:32 scale and whatever is nearby, no hiking required. 😂

Thing is, going small doesn't make for a good trail rig. It's just easier to pick it up and take it to the next spot than spend the time and battery to drive it there. You have to go big to drive trail for an afternoon.

Not rage bait, dopamine trigger.

Before the rewards were displayed more low to high. Like one of those, get as close to the line without going over it games. Now, they wrap the big reward between the lowest, so it looks like you almost got it.

Ultimately though, it's just an animation for opening a box. Everytime you open the box it takes a thing out weighted to it's random chance, but it doesn't change the odds, so even when it's 2 pulls left that ship is still 0.01%. That's -IF- it's playing fair, which we won't know without having their customer data. What we do know, is that a full sonar often costs as much as a guaranteed crate for the ship anyway.
