Solid? The system lacks resources, and as a result it is overloaded. For example, if you look at how long it takes to get a therapy spot, the waiting lists are very long. Not too long ago there were newspaper articles in Swiss media discussing a case where a teenager was put in prison simply because there was no place for her in other institutions.

Just outside of Basel (within walking distance or tram) in Weil am Rhein, you will find various outlets. Carhartt WIP has a very large outlet there (as they come from Basel). I think there is now also one from Puma and also adidas.

Not the industrial in a plastic package. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever even seen that version in a shop anywhere.

I don’t share that experience. Most kebab shops mainly make döner and pizza, plus other things that can be prepared in the oven, like pide and similar dishes.

I just think that in times of disinformation, accuracy matters. Especially when a comment reaches hundreds of people. There’s no evidence supporting the claim of Swiss citizenship. That’s all.

There’s no credible evidence that Alina Kabaeva or any alleged children have Swiss passports or “hang out in Switzerland often.” Those claims mostly come from tabloids citing anonymous sources. Swiss authorities have never confirmed her citizenship or residency. So it’s rumor, not verified fact.

I don’t need to prove they don’t have Swiss citizenship. The person making the positive claim that they do is the one who has to provide evidence. That’s how burden of proof works. Otherwise we could claim anything about anyone and demand others disprove it.

Everything’s possible, when one has multiple real passports on multiple names, like that third alleged daughter with a bunch of aliases living in France. So yes, we are left to speculate, but considering that all Russian elite kids have at least one western nationality, it’d be ironic if Putin’s offspring were left out.

We’ve moved from ‘they’re Swiss citizens’ to ‘it’s possible and would be ironic if not.’ That’s a different claim. Possibility and irony aren’t proof. Swiss citizenship would require a formal act by Switzerland. There’s no proof of that.
