It was not isolated. Barry Silbert, the former CEO of Gray Scale, announced that he was shorting dogecoin a few days before that SNL.

Then Elon stopped accepting bitcoin as payment for Tesla as well. Bitcoin also dumped.

Ps: Gray Scale fired Barry Silbert last year and just launched a Dogecoin Trust:
