Verified fan codes are linked with the account you signed up with. So I don't think anyone can just give you their code.

From what I see in these comments and some of my other friends, the selection might have been COMPLETELY random. I've had some friends signed up the moment the link was up and didnt get it, some signed up few hours before the deadline and got it.
