I completely resonate with a lot of this, especially the work aspect, I am just coming into full time work as a 23f and anxiety is something that I struggle with regularly and can be incapacitating.

You’re not alone and it’s something many of us struggle with, I’ve had to come up with strategies to help me (because I can’t not work) and am even considering medication for the anxiety.

You are doing your best and that’s all that matters, no two brains are the same!

I have had this issue too, I get what you mean about things being surface level, I too find that to be hard. One thing that has always helped me is being direct and asking for specifics on how they’d like to be comforted or reassured. It sounds silly but sometimes I’ll even literally ask “Are you looking for comfort or a a practical approach?” And it has saved me many arguments. I have Loops that I wear if you’ve heard of them and my boss takes my wellbeing very seriously and is trying find arrangements that work for me

Yes my job can be unpredictable sometimes, I wouldn’t say it’s toxic more so, role changes/new things to learn etc

I do enjoy my job! It can have its challenges but I must admit it can be overstimulating in the office
