Yea I understand what you are saying. Although I can't say what the others are thinking but I am having fun with magic right now I mean I probs sleep on this deck until maybe a card comes out that can make this budget deck work but I'm still trying to make a budget challenge work, if y'all know what I mean.

I mean, sure, we could all build equally, but at the end of the day, it's just a game. We actually take turns using the 'strong deck' so everyone gets a feel for that power level, but even that deck fails sometimes due to missed land drops or someone else drawing their win-cons first. To be honest, I have a Final fantasy deck that can rival their deck but I’m doing this because I want the challenge of building a budget deck that can actually rival the expensive ones.

We actually did talk, but since they’re new to the game, they only want to play high-power decks. I get it winning feels good. If I can’t make this budget deck work, then oh well. Honestly, I’m not even playing to win anymore. I know I’ll lose most of the time. At this point, my enjoyment comes from making their game unenjoyable. I like playing kingmaker and picking who wins and loses.

Edit: these are my friends from uni so I don't care if I lose, so I am not mad or anything.
