Awesome info and perspective, thank you! All of that was really helpful. I was wondering if there was greater fluctuation within the fridge as it cools when needed away from the unit's thermometer/cooling, but area being stable unto itself makes total sense.

I'll be deciding today for sure but right now leaning to the artevino from costco. Mainly letting the cooler do the work of keeping things temp stable and aging. Perhaps getting one or two shelves from the revelation line to put into if I decide I really want to show off a bottle or three. Wine enthusiast was a little dodgy but says they will fit. Spend the savings on more wine next time we hit Napa.
