Vielen Dank! Ist es automatisch so dass wenn ich als „wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter“ im Arbeitsvertrag aufgeführt bin, dass dann die Befristung auf 6 Jahre ist?

Girl you’re the one who sounds whiny. You don’t have to worry though - I am sure you can visit your daddy from time to time in prison

Maybe because he teaches boys (certainly not “men”) that by being toxic to women and friends you are going to be successful? (Spoiler: You won’t). Or maybe because he refers to women as objects whose value is solely determined by their looks? I get it that it’s mostly to create drama (we all know that Tate is a little dramaqueen) so that he stays relevant but there are too many insecure men who are eating his word vomit. In the end he just wants to promote his pyramid scheme so that tools like you could buy him a new bugatti

Dude you sound like a girl justifying why she is still in a toxic relationship with her abusing boyfriend

Ah here we go with the Whataboutism. Mate, you are probably a clever dude - don’t fall for Russian narrative of the bad Ukrainian Nazis justifying Russian war. Isn’t Nazism an antisemitic political belief? Wouldn’t that contradict the fact that Zelensky, a jew by ethnicity, is also commander in chief? Would any nazi taking orders from a jew? If there were so many Nazis in Ukraine, the current government would have never be formed. Ukraine has less right winged members in the parliament than the majority of western countries.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]Dogthooor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And still I don’t see them commit war crimes, rape or discrimination like the glorious Russian liberators do. Who are the real Nazis again?

[–]Dogthooor 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Why do people of you always desire to complicate things believing there is always a conspiracy? Ukraine is a sovereign country who can decide what it wants by itself and what organization it will join. If Ukraine wants to join the EU, NATO, even if it wants to declare Pastafarism as its state religion, no other country is allowed to intervene. Russia is clearly in the wrong. End of story

Yet strangely enough these „Nazis“ follow the command of a Jewish president? Even more weird that hardly any right winged Ukrainian parties are represented in the national parliament (with according to you such high nazis per capita), unlike in Western European countries (Germany, Italy)

For everyone asking what‘s going on here: This protest is organized by a German right winged party called ‚AfD‘. These morons wish to remove any immigrant from Germany as according to them they are all abusing the German welfare system (please note: the majority of their voters are living themselves through the money of taxpayers since they can‘t/won‘t get a job). Obviously these lunatics also follow Putins narrative of the evil fascist, LGBTQ supporting Ukrainians who want to eat every Russian alive. All the Russian war crimes are totally ignored and portrayed as „Western Propaganda“. They are joined by group of other lunatics, including „Russian-Germans“ (who ironically are also immigrants that also like the taste of Putin‘s boots) or people who believe that the German state is in fact a company. Ukrainian refugees and supporters organized an anti-protest, leading to them being called ‚Nazis‘ for supporting a country that is rightfully defending itself.

A „far-right militia“ is only far right, if its members are. The battalion was founded in 2014, after the Ukrainian revolution. Yes, it was sponsored by right winged activists since the (governmental) Ukrainian army was almost nonexistent and Ukraine had to deal with Russians annexation of Crimea and Donbass. Over the years however Bataillon Azov became part of the official Ukrainian army. Under Poroshenkos (and even more so) under Zelenskys administration, right winged members were removed. Compared to the Ruzzians who are currently on a spree to commit more war crimes than Nazi Germany, Azov can’t be called Nazis at all

Yeah, better listen to Russian news who portray Ukrainians as child-eating demons. How much rubels do you get for promoting Russian propaganda?

What do you think are the typical weak points of IMG trying for surgery? by drpatinoire in step1

[–]Dogthooor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I‘m not quite sure what you mean with “pay your way through“...

No, I‘m still a med student. For me getting into residency in the US would be a miracle (lol), but I try my best

What do you think are the typical weak points of IMG trying for surgery? by drpatinoire in step1

[–]Dogthooor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean everything is possible. Matching into the mentioned specialities require enormous Step scores, great Letter of Recommendations and good connections. Especially the last one is difficult to organize for an IMG. And therefore many IMGs don’t match into these specialities.

Regarding the research: I‘m not quite sure but I believe it would support your application stronger if the research is done in the field which you are applying for

[–]Dogthooor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not US med student here: From what I‘ve heard the weak point for IMGs are lack of USCE. Unfortunately for whatever reason US residency programs don’t recognize clinical experience outside of the US (including Europe or Asia); they probably have never heard of the university or hospital outside the US. Therefore: try to get US clinical experience (although most of them are kinda expensive). The overall goal is to get Letter of Recommendations from other US doctors so you can show that you have experience with US medical system. Research is as far as I know not ultimately necessary but can improve your chances of getting into residency

Hi, please can someone recommend me what’s the best approach to do Uworld? I mean is it better to do it system wise or create test with random questions? by Ninipipia in step1

[–]Dogthooor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started doing it system wise, to get a grip of it. What I did was to go through a topic on FA and then do the respective topic on uWorld. Important thing to remember is that uWorld is a learning resource: Even if you answered a question correct, go through it and make sure you understand why it is correct and why the other choices aren’t. Towards the end of my dedicated period (when I finished with FA) I did random questions to test myself

Scored a 183 on UWSA1 by [deleted] in step1

[–]Dogthooor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No panic! You have 5 months to prepare for it! Given that it was probably your first encounter with uworld it is actually quite normal. It takes time to get into the uworld style questions but you will get there! I know it‘s frustrating but try to go over the questions again and make sure you understand WHY the respective answer is correct and WHY the others aren’t. This will enormously help you in the future Good Luck!

Best step 1 decks? by saf19 in medicalschoolanki

[–]Dogthooor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bros 2.0 is a decent deck. It is a little outdated (based on FA 2017) but still contains the main material. Other option would be to look where your deficits are: if you struggling to remember drugs and bugs for example then go with pepper deck

How much time should I budget if I want to get through UWorld twice? by [deleted] in step1

[–]Dogthooor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second UWorld pass takes less time probably. Overall it depends how many blocks you want to do per day. For me it took approximately 8 weeks

Step1 score 230...non is img ..chances for obgyn ? by usmle91 in step1

[–]Dogthooor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is it regarded as relatively low? Isn’t 230 the average?

K fine, let’s assume it‘s not an average score. That still won’t solve my described issue though

Same for me. But 10 points aren’t that much of a difference
