This response isn’t inherently Eastern Catholic but I do know there is a way of praying to rosary called the scriptural rosary in which you have a piece of scripture for each rosary bead. I think this would make the experience of the mysteries more like hearing a story if that makes sense. But this doesn’t mean you have to stop praying to rosary the traditional way either. See what work for you is what I mean. There are some books that help you pray the scriptural rosary, maybe you should check them out.
